Here Is The Simple Secret To Your Success.

Hello, 

I'm back with more information about building a profitable Online Business.

Now we hear over & over that "The Money Is In The List".  That's easy to understand intellectually but here is how I finally grasped that concept 

In a company that I worked with, before I joined LeadsLeap, I faithfully mailed and advertised, month after month, for more than a year.

After doing this for a long time, I was reflecting on the situation.   I realized that I had worked all month, and invested at least $100.00 (probably more!) in advertising... only to receive a few dollars in income.

So I asked myself, "Why am I doing this? What's the point?".  I was feeling very dark, discouraged and hopeless.

I don't really have an excuse, or any logic for this, but I decided to press on, and keep working.  So I did.

Well... to come to the point, after a few more months, for whatever reason, I decided to look at my commissions statement.  I was surprised to see that, for the first time, I actually "broke even".  I actually did not lose any money that month, and actually made a couple of dollars of "profit".

Now, I know that some of you would scoff and laugh at my naivete and my pathetic attempt to run a business.  But for me, that was a breakthrough.

The next month, when I looked over my commissions statement, I wasn't really optimistic.  I considered that, at best, maybe I would break even, again.

I was shocked to discover that not only did I cover my expenses, but I actually made a sale that resulted in more than $400.00 of "real" profit.

To be honest, that doesn't happen every month, but my income does continue to grow, such that if I just continue to do what I'm doing... my income will become significant to my life.

Here's the point of this story: You probably will NOT be profitable until you have a good number of people in your mailing list.  For me, the "magic number" was around 1000 people, but you can't project a specific number.  It depends on the circumstances, but that is a good objective.  And the question is, if you (just as an example) break even at about 1000 members, then how do things look at 10,000?

What stops you from having a 100,000 person mailing list?

Therefore, it makes no sense to feel hopeless and discouraged at your progress.  If you are consistently and steadily adding to your list, then you are on track to success.

There are infinite variables - which products, what niche, what are the best landing pages, what's the best ad copy - it goes on forever.  We never stop learning our craft, and there's always room for improvement.

But if you learn something useful, and do something beneficial every day - then you are moving forward and getting one step closer to your personal goals.

 


Here is a quote from Kenneth Koh (the Founder of LeadsLeap):

Someone once described starting a business as boiling water.

Water will not boil until it reaches its boiling point. So is starting an online business.

Only when you work on it up to the 'boiling point' then magic will happen.

Unfortunately the 'boiling point' of a business is not as clear-cut as that of water, so many people give up before the boiling point is reached.


 


For me, the "boiling point" was the day I not only broke even, but actually made a significant profit.

Now... why do I mention all this?

In my experience, you could say that there are 3 things that are really important, but they are not the things that people typically focus on.

  1. Your beliefs about yourself
  2. Knowledge not "lack of money"
  3. Take Action!

Believe In Yourself!

In our culture, we are surrounded by influences that would tend to squash us into a little box.  The Main Stream Media, our present "job", our co-workers - perhaps even our "friends" and family - often tend to convince us that we "can't make it"... it's hopeless... we can't change... it's useless to even try to improve our lives.

It's a lie, my friend!  If it's in your heart to do something good, then go for it

If you study the lives of people who have achieved great things and success (however they define "success") you see that most often, people fail dozens - if not hundreds - of times before they "make it"!

Learn from mistakes, and try again!
 


Keep Learning and Growing

In my experience, it's not lack of money that limits our business growth.  It's lack of knowledge - knowing what to do and how to do it.

For an online business, everything boils down to an email.  No matter how or what you are promoting, whether it's Social Media, Safelists, Classified Ads - whatever!  The end result is sending & receiving email.

If you master the craft of Email Marketing, then you are well on your way.

And all the tools, training and education you need are at LeadsLeap.  You just have to work the system, and that's what this message is all about!
 


Do Something Every Day!

May I suggest...
It's not what you do today, of even this week, or month that has the most effect.
It's what you do consistently - over time -  that matters in the long run (and the long run is what matters).

If you only have a half hour per day, and an ad budget of $10.00 per week - that will work.  It will take longer, but it will work.  Just press on, and don't give up!

Just devise a plan that works for you, and work your plan, every day!
 


On the subject of believing in yourself, here is some information that you may find useful.  This is kind of a crash course in self-motivation.

In the book, Feeling Is The Secret, author Neville Goddard points out that, "Control of the subconscious is controlled through control of your ideas and feelings."

In the original Gospel of St Thomas, are the words, "Ask without hidden motive, and be surrounded by your answer." and "Be enveloped by your desire, that your gladness be full."

It also says, "When you make the two (thought and emotion) as one, you will say to the mountain, “move away” and the mountain will move away!”

Gregg Braden says, “Feel as if your prayer has already been answered!”

So what this means is that when we think, plan and visualize our goals, we should add to that thought,  feeling the emotion  - what it feels like when our goals are reality.

Also, when it says, "...be surrounded by..." and "...be enveloped by...", to me that suggests that, to the extent possible, we should add to our daily life, the thoughts, words and pictures that remind us of our goals.

For example, I like to post on my computer desktop, graphics that symbolize my goals.

For your information, there are programs available to assist with sustaining a positive outlook.  Examples are Manifestation Hero , 15 Minute Manifestation and Manifestation Millionaire.

This isn't for everyone, but if you find yourself getting discouraged, this approach might be helpful for you.  The point is that you have to believe in yourself and that you can achieve the goals you set for yourself.

Please don't let "the world" decide for you whether you're going to be a winner or not.
You decide on the reality you want to create... and then go for it!
